CaliCo Salon & Education Studio was founded by Lisa Noumbissi, a master hairstylist and color expert with more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. After working in respected salons throughout the Washington, D.C. area, Lisa spent seven years building and operating her own small business. Her journey as a stylist, educator, entrepreneur, and mother of two inspired her to create the kind of salon she wished existed—one where talented beauty professionals could build sustainable careers without sacrificing their creativity, flexibility, or well-being. Her passion for education and belief in perfecting your craft remains at the heart of CaliCo and its commitment to helping both stylists and clients feel confident, supported, and inspired.
